Kamala is the safe choice. She has easy access to Biden’s war chest (though this is now being challenged in court) and she checks the boxes for the people who control the Democratic Party. If her candidacy goes south she will be easily sacrificed.
In the meantime Kamala Harris knows where her bread is buttered and will act accordingly in the months (and if elected, years) ahead. Biden’s forced “resignation” showed where the power lay within the Democratic Party these days.
