Greetings everyone. You may have noticed a bit of a disruption at ACC over the past week. This stems from a hack of our very active Facebook page with a few hundred thousand followers. We were able to get the page back, which is good since there was lots of work associated, but we lost the followers, which as you can imagine was and still is pretty tough.
But life does go on and so will Against Crony Capitalism. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
I am actually pursuing, in addition to keeping Against Crony Capitalism a living breathing community, a career in education. So though this disruption is a challenge, no doubt about it, it also comes at a time where new vistas are opening up.
In the weeks and months ahead we will continue to post, and likely more regularly, so please look for that. We will also be more active in the chat channels and other avenues here on Substack, our home.
Life can be crazy sometimes and we appreciate all the support we have gotten. Seriously, the people who already know about our hack have been great.
If you’ve liked our stuff over the years please consider recommending us to others as we grow this community in a new way. It will be smaller, but I anticipate that it will be richer.
Below are the channels where we will also engage in in the weeks and months ahead.
The Against Crony Capitalism YouTube Channel. (I actually just started this channel a couple of months ago and it has grown pretty nicely.)
Our X (formerly Twitter) profile. (We haven’t done a ton in it but I anticipate that it will be a more important channel going forward. We do have over 16,000 followers.
This is my direct email if you want to get in touch with me directly. NickSorrentino3@gmail.com
My regular Facebook profile can be accessed here. (Not the page.) Feel free to friend me.
In truth, the Facebook page was taking too much of my time. But even still, the breach is annoying.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me in the future. If you are a subscriber to our Substack letter you are always welcome.
I must admit that I am a bit disappointed. But at the same time life is also changing in other ways for me in new, positive directions.
I look forward, as always, to communicating with you online and occasionally in person.
Very Sincerely,
Nick Sorrentino
Yeah, put it into stasis. The old work's still there but no new stuff, and it's not public. Thank you for the report tho.
Page not showing up for me....
