Old World Order Dies, The Common Sense Revolution Rolls (and Spreads) Part 1

Times changed, and so did we

Is it like the fall of the Berlin Wall like we said it might be after Trump’s election? Kind of.

Kind of. That’s all we can say. It’s hard to imagine that Trump regaining the White House could even approach being as consequential as the death of worldwide socialism. Even still, there is the oddest feeling that there are much bigger things to come in this “Common Sense Revolution”.

The old order thought it could crush Trump and his fellow travelers under the boot heel of state. At they very least the old order felt it could effectively neuter the former president, like the ruling class had essentially done with Brexit in Britain. The gulags were ready for the “deplorables” and the Chief Deplorable in particular. Indeed, some people did end up going to the gulag. Trump and Trumpism was finished. The Soros/Cheney/Obama/Bush/Clinton/Blair (and their faceless allies) crowd would once again reign supreme. Trump was a blip in history. A moment when the proper powers that be took their eyes off the ball. Never again would that happen.

It didn’t. From 2000 on Trump was harangued and harassed and dragged into court and lambasted and mocked in the old media. The “deploarables” were further demonized by the respectable classes, and in many cases outright censored by the Biden administration and governments abroad.

The idea was to starve the “deporables” of oxygen. Never let the dissidents see the light of day. Never let them speak.

How dare everyday people question the outbreak of authoritarian fascism we now refer to as Covid. We are the people in control. If we say that the economy will shut down, we will shut it down. (It is worth noting that many of the people in left leadership- in the US particularly - who pushed lockdowns and mask mandates were also pushing 80 and were deathly fearful of the virus that most people could handle with discomfort, but handle non-the-less.) We are the state, and you will do as you are told. You thought you bloodied our noses with Trump in the White House and by bucking the European Union? Ha! Just you watch. WE run the show. YOU will do as we say.

But it didn’t work out that way. The Democrats in the USA sought to construct a show trial (we now know) around the J6 rioters, complete with very expensive Hollywood producers putting the whole thing together. They sought to make a star out of Liz Cheney, who they regarded as a “good” Republican because, one, she could clearly be bought, and two, because she was the daughter of the King of the neoconservatives, Dick Cheney. Which is totally insane given what the left thought of Dick Cheney just a few years before. But for Democrats the neoconservative wing of the GOP was far more acceptable that the Trump heathen. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, and that is how the never-Trumpers sold their “conservative” souls to the Democrats.

The neocons were sure that with the Democrats things would get back to the state of affairs they liked, with all the privileges associated. (This was the whole vibe from the Lincoln Project dudes.)

In 2016 the neocons, Republicans though they were, wanted Hillary Clinton to win. Yes, she was Hillary Clinton and giving the Clintons and the Democrats that win would be a moderate pain in the ass. However, Clinton and Company knew how to play ball. The neocons knew that their positions in places like the Pentagon and State were secure with a Clinton win. The same could be said for most of the milquetoast GOP in Washington DC. Anyway Trump, the blowhard and misogynist, had no chance of winning.

Then he won.

In November 2016many heads exploded. It would take until November 2024 for the remaining craniums to blow apart.

When Trump won in 2024 it was an utter repudiation of everything the Old World Order stood for and had done since 2016. Instantly fear became real for all the people who had engaged in censorship, and persecution, and stealing from the taxpayers, and who enjoyed cushy corporate propagandist jobs at the old media dinosaurs. The fear went from abstract to reality when the election results rolled in.

These people had and have a reason to fear. But they made their own beds.

USAID was such a good place to start. It’s a great symbol of all that is wrong with Washington and the Old World Order. It is an agency funded by US taxpayers to enrich cronies. And not just cronies in this country, but cronies around the world.
