NOTE TO TRUMP: MASSIE IS ONE OF THE FEW GOOD GUYS in DC!

The President's attack on perhaps the most principled member of Congress is a big misstep

This is unacceptable.

We have given the president a good bit of latitude because we think he deserves it. The change in the country since he was elected has been like a breath of fresh air. The country feels more relaxed (at least most of the country). The fear of censorship coming from the White House is gone. (Also how is no one going to jail over the Biden censorship?) DOGE is hacking up bits of the federal government that have long deserved to get hacked up. (And yes, it is OK to curtail the Executive Branch through the Executive Branch, constitutionally speaking, it just can’t expand the funding within the branch without Congress.) Had Kamala won it is hard to imagine the crony friendly woke dystopia we’d be living through. (Though it would have been funny watching the ex-Vice president make it through press conferences on Xanax.) The country and the world is better off for the Trump win.

But Mr. President why in the world would you go after Thomas Massie, one of a small handful of honest (in our experience) lawmakers on The Hill? Why would you even say that you would support a primary attack on the NUMBER ONE WASTE, FRAUD, AND ABUSE hawk in Washington? Massie stands up for what is right over and over, whether it is opposing unlimited funding for foreign governments, or calling Speaker Johnson out for trying to put the American taxpayers even further in the hole with even more debt. Why would you make an enemy of the man who should be the next Senator from Kentucky? Why would you turn your back on millions of small government people who support Representative Massie, who have also largely supported you and your efforts and supported you while the Dems tried to railroad you third world style in the courts?

It’s not a good tack.
